We appreciate your patience; we had to move our students to temporary online; we are all back in person now.\r\n\r\nWe recently held a session where students engaged in the black boxes, always fun! Students seemed to really enjoy trying to make inferences about what designs are inside the close system. We used this activity to move into the density cube lab. Students made inferences about items that would float or sink in water. This led to great classroom conversations around what is best to build with or use in different situations.\r\n\r\nThis coming weekend we will be utilizing even more of the labs that were funded! When three administrators and staff members visited the room, they were captivated by its warmth, exclaiming it felt like home, a sanctuary they were reluctant to leave.
