Many students were able to stop out at the lake with their family and some students managed to catch a few fish while doing it. Students were very happy to receive a free fishing rod as part of the event and a few returning students still had their rods from previous years. Many students have shared with me that they still use their rods each year when they go out ice fishing, which is pretty darn cool! \r\n\r\nYour kind donation helps to take away one barrier for students to access the lifetime activity of fishing.
