The \"Let's Find Out\" flyers are a big hit! They teach science, seasonal, health, and social studies topics that enhances the curriculum and gives the students an actual paper to read together with classmates, and bring home to read with their families. It is a great way to keep our families in touch with what our class is learning. In addition to the flyers, there is an entire online library of videos, flyers and ideas that I can access to enhance many other lessons than the yearly subscription provides. The kids love to read the digital version on the smartboard with me and take turns finding words and completing the activity on the back of each flyer. Once they get their own copy, they are very excited and eagerly complete the activity on their own. Each online lesson also includes a related learning game that goes along with each topic. Kids love to take turns showing me what they have learned when they have a turn on the board. Scholastic really understands young kids and their need for movement breaks too as they have incorporated a dance and breathing activity for each lesson related to its topic.
