We need to be rested up to learn and give our all to tasks and enjoy the FUN things in a day. Lack of rest makes for irritable children! Many of my students come from homes that don’t have the best sleeping environment, and so many fall asleep during this time! Many of them ask me, “When is rest?” in the morning. That tells me their body needs it. It’s comforting to see them rest their bodies and know how good they will feel after it.
