We focused on the guitar and how the strings vibrate to make low and high notes. Next, they added details that included the pegs, posts, saddle, bridge, and sound hole. Some details were made with cardboard, but many needed to be drawn on. My students know using acrylic markers is a special treat. They love the way the paint pens dry instantly and how color can be layered. I can't begin to tell you how excited they were to use acrylic markers to decorate their guitars. I didn't get many pictures- but the work the students completed was outstanding.
