I allow flexible seating during work times in my classroom. I have found that children perform better if they are able to be comfortable while doing their assignments. The majority of the items on my list are for this. The other items are various items of need that I am not able to purchase myself, or with my small classroom budget. The shelving is for the toys the children use in the morning before the school day begins. I also some art supplies, and scented play dough. Many of the students I work with have sensory issues and benefit from scented items.
