Students were amazed as they watched the moon orbit around the Earth and the Earth orbit around the sun. They were able to better understand moon phases, the Earth's tilt during different seasons, and even lunar and solar eclipses in a hands-on and meaningful way. Seeing these concepts in action helped students make connections that a textbook alone could never provide.\r\n\r\nThe Solar System model also inspired excitement and curiosity every day. Students loved watching the planets and objects in our galaxy projected around the room while listening to interesting facts about each planet and space exploration. The interactive features sparked thoughtful discussions and encouraged students to ask deeper questions about our universe. Along with these amazing models, the nonfiction books gave students the opportunity to explore astronomy, the solar system, the universe, and the lives of important people in space. Many students eagerly read the books during independent reading time and shared fascinating facts they discovered with their classmates.\r\n\r\nYour kindness also brought creativity and joy into our classroom. The scratch-art bookmarks were such a fun activity for students to create. They loved scratching off the designs and watching the bright colors appear underneath. It was exciting for them to make something special while celebrating their love of reading and learning about space. Because of your support, our students were engaged, inspired, and excited to learn each day.
