Each student in my classroom is more of a hands on and visual learner. They need to be able to explore and build in order to learn concepts- WORKSHEETS ARE THE WORST FOR MY LITTLE LEARNERS! My students are in desperate need of tangible items and manipulatives to work in small group and explore and practice skills independently. Unfortunately, our district does not have the money to supply such items for my students, that is why we are reaching out to the donors choose community. ANY help would be tremendously appreciated! The students learn best by seeing, manipulating, feeling and building with various items. With the receptive and expressive language difficulties in my classroom- big books with fun and engaging props draw students interest to learning about language and the hopefully building love for reading.
