They are not worried about if they have a pencil, or if they can sharpen it. Which, they LOVE the new sharpener. They call it a robot because it takes the pencils, sharpens, and then gives it back all on its own without them having to touch! \r\n\r\nWe had to swap out some supplies that were not available, but the new markers, crayons, and cardstock have been extremely beneficial in students being able to be creative on our Fun Friday's and on project days. \r\n\r\nThey are having so much fun getting to play connect 4 on indoor recess days, of which we've had many recently, and they are now asking for more games like it! \r\n\r\nWe are so appreciative and thankful that all of the supplies were funded. They feel more comfortable and want to be in the space. The new lamps make it so that we do not have to have the overhead lights on that are harsh. It creates a space that is warm and inviting so students feel more ready to learn. The LED lights have made it so we can change colors based on time of day or how the students are feeling. They love being able to control part of our room and make it their own when they are in it! \r\n\r\nThe carpet has made it so that students can come sit down closer to the front and do work while being comfortable. It has made a huge difference during independent work time. \r\n\r\nVery thankful to have been able to create a space for my students that they love coming to.
