In the meantime, we are learning all about ants. When the ants arrive, we are ready for them. We have created a spring themed set, a community helpers set, as well as math numbers and computation booklets. \r\n\r\nThe students are engaged and enjoying the new materials. There also is a lot of cooperative play and problem solving. Lots of learning with a Mud/Snow Kitchen.\r\n\r\nWe will be setting the others up in the sand boxes in the spring and bring out pails of water to use with the sand. This is a fantastic addition to our classroom. The bugs have helped with having children become familiar with bugs and not being afraid of them. They are able to get close up and investigate them. We recently had our glue lesson and they have been using that to create snowflakes to hang in the room.\r\n\r\nWe appreciate these new materials.
