Student engagement has increased dramatically. When I ask for volunteers to come to the board, far more hands shoot up than ever did with our traditional whiteboard. Students have also learned to independently adjust text size, fit words into sentences, and move or erase letters to create new words during phonics instruction.\r\n\r\nMany of our textbooks are now online, and the interactive whiteboard allows me to project these resources for the whole class. Students can come up and interact directly with digital materials, making lessons more hands-on and collaborative. Our math series includes interactive games that align with our units, and we are now able to play them together as a class—something that simply wasn't possible before. I also use tools like Classroom Screen to start our mornings. Students love taking the daily poll and seeing class results displayed on the board. It's a fun and meaningful way to build community while strengthening math skills.\r\n\r\nOverall, this interactive whiteboard has brought our classroom firmly into the 21st century. In a world where students must adapt to rapidly changing technology, this tool helps prepare them for the future. It has also inspired me as a teacher to explore, create, and incorporate more interactive resources to support my students' learning.","fullyFundedDate":1759372776811,"projectUrl":"project/engage-explore-and-learn-with-interact/9531384/","projectTitle":"Engage, Explore, and Learn With Interactive Technology","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Eadeh","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6561914_orig.jpg?crop=816,816,x128,y16&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1596849107032","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6561914"},{"teacherId":9457288,"projectId":9209476,"letterContent":"I want to extend my deepest gratitude to each of you for helping fully fund our DonorsChoose project. Because of your generosity, my 4th grade classroom now has a Smart Board—and it has completely transformed the way I teach.\r\nThis tool has made my teaching so much more interactive and engaging. I can now display work pages and math tools in real time, making it easier for students to follow along and actively participate. I'm also able to show maps, graphs, and even two different forms of curriculum side by side, which helps students make important connections across subjects. The ability to color-code and highlight work has made lessons more visual, helping my students grasp difficult concepts more clearly.\r\nMost importantly, this Smart Board has turned learning into something fun, hands-on, and collaborative. Without your donations, this opportunity would not have been possible. You have given my students the chance to experience learning in a way that is dynamic and exciting, and for that, I am truly grateful.\r\nThank you for believing in my students and in the power of interactive learning.
