Your generosity has already made a difference in our classroom.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new wobble cushions and sensory seating, they were immediately excited to try them! They loved having new choices and were eager to figure out which seating options helped them feel most comfortable and focused. We have been using the cushions during independent work, reading, partner activities, and small-group learning. One of my favorite moments has been watching students make thoughtful choices about where they work based on what they know helps them learn best.\r\n\r\nThese resources have also given us an opportunity to talk about self-awareness and responsibility. My students are learning that flexible seating isn't simply about getting to sit somewhere different—it is about understanding what their bodies and brains need to be successful. They are practicing making choices that help them stay focused, engaged, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nRight now, we are continuing to build our classroom routines and working on becoming more independent learners. As we move into new reading, writing, and math lessons, students will continue using these seating options to find spaces where they can do their best work.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping create a classroom where movement, choice, and individuality are celebrated. During interactive read-alouds, students make predictions, ask questions, make connections, and discuss characters' choices and feelings. These new books have opened the door to important conversations about kindness, perseverance, friendship, courage, inclusion, and what makes each of us unique. Students are practicing empathy by considering perspectives different from their own and learning that challenges and mistakes are opportunities to grow.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite things to see is how excited students become when they recognize themselves in a story—or discover something new about someone else. Students who may not always be eager to participate during traditional lessons are often quick to share their thoughts when we are discussing a character or story. These books have given every student an opportunity to contribute, listen to others, and feel like their voice matters.\r\n\r\nYour support has helped make our classroom library a place where students can find more than just a good book. They are finding stories that make them laugh, think, wonder, and see the world from a different perspective.
