As a first year teacher, building a classroom from the ground up is a huge undertaking, and your generosity provided my students with resources that we are already using throughout our school day.\r\n\r\nThe individual whiteboards and number lines have been especially helpful during our whole-group and small-group lessons. They give every student an opportunity to participate, show their thinking, and practice new skills in a fun, low-pressure way. Our reading phones and CVC word-building materials have also been wonderful additions as we work on phonics, decoding, and becoming confident readers. The Biscuit books have given my beginning readers books that they are excited to pick up and work toward reading independently.\r\n\r\nYour donations have impacted more than just academics. The sensory tools and calming materials give my students resources to regulate their bodies and emotions when they need a moment to reset. Our building materials and magnetic tiles encourage creativity, problem solving, cooperation, and play. These have already become some of the students' favorite materials, and I love watching them create and work together.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and in my very first classroom. These resources will impact this group of first graders throughout the year and many more students who walk through my classroom door in the years to come. I am incredibly grateful that you helped me create a classroom community where my students have the tools they need to learn, grow, and feel like they belong.","fullyFundedDate":1781863707380,"projectUrl":"project/creating-a-cozy-first-grade-community/10343461/","projectTitle":"Creating a Cozy First Grade Community","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Langheinrich","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10534076_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1781753587713","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10534076"},{"teacherId":6973894,"projectId":10357371,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donation to my classroom.
