Your kindness has allowed my classroom to enjoy so many more books then they were before. In early childhood education it is best to do repeated readings with books so the students can feel confident in reading the story by themselves. This project allowed our students to have multiple copies of some core books - The Three Bears, Caps for Sale, The Gingerbread Man, Owl Babies, Three Billy Goats Gruff, We're Going on a Bear Hunt, and Peter's Chair. My students love to read the same book as their friends and now they can each have their own copies to read too! \r\n\r\nThese books also gave us a few new versions of a story as well so the students have been busy comparing and contrasting the different versions of The Three Bears, The Gingerbread Man, and The Three Little Pigs. These books also helped to encourage the students to express their feelings with words instead of actions. I have been able to start over 60 5th grade students on an instrument of their choice. \r\n\r\nWe have students playing the clarinet and the alto saxophone. They benefit from reeds, mouthpiece patches, and swabs. I have trumpet and trombone students using the valve and slide oil.
