Learning how to play the recorder is a rite of passage for any student. I want to provide a stress-free way of providing this opportunity to my students. Financially, the school can not afford to provide them for every student, and I know not every student can purchase their own. Music is more than just singing. We will use the recorders to not only learn how to play the instrument, but use it to learn how to read notes and rhythms. It will also help prepare the students to play a band instrument if they choose to. Music is a universal language in this diverse school!
