As a special education teacher, I am trying to incorporate a a variety of resources that will benefit my students. The sight word activities will provide a hands-on approach to learning new words the will help build reading fluency. The addition and subtraction regrouping kits will allow my students to visualize the regrouping process. Reading and math skills are essential skills to have, and unfortunately, students with disabilities struggle with this on a daily basis. The majority of my students are kinesthetic learners, and will benefit from being able to learn from a hands-on approach to learning. My goal is to make learning fun and meaningful for my students. Unfortunately, as a new teacher, my resources are currently limited. These products I have selected will ensure that my students are getting the support they need in order to be successful in the general education classroom.
