The art students have been painting on materials and on the walls for mural art. The photography students used the frames to frame their photos for their art exhibit at the end of the semester. There were a lot of oohs and awes. Our students learn how to use the equipement and to mat and frame the photos they will exhibit at their art show which we hold 2 times a year. \r\n\r\nMy students really enjoyed the new cameras and learning how to use them. We had some new students this year which added to the excitement. Everyone was eager to use the new cameras. Each week I have students send me their photos from their assignments and using the projector they learn to critique each others work and what we may use for the art shows. Then a few days before the art show they mat, sign their photos, and frame them.\r\n\r\nThere are always 1-2 students that I warm to. The students learning photography for the first time are always amazed at what they can create. But if I have to pick one or two I pick Max who was tenth grade this year. He was my helper with the new projector as he is very knowledgeable when it comes to technology.
