One student was excited to see that there was a series that they would be able to read. \r\n\r\nIn my small groups, we usually work on very specific skills. When progress monitoring, the students have had the opportunity to explore the books and share what they thought the book might be about. As the new year begins, a couple of small groups will have designated time during small group to independently read these new books as I monitor their reading fluency, one student at a time.\r\n\r\nAlthough not all of the students I work with have shown an interest in the new books, I believe that once they see their peers reading and talking about the books, they will also become interested. \r\nAgain, thank you so much for giving the students the opportunity to read books with dyslexic friendly text.","fullyFundedDate":1758857084016,"projectUrl":"project/turning-pages-for-struggling-readers/9743147/","projectTitle":"Turning Pages for Struggling Readers","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Monroe","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1229412"},{"teacherId":7792116,"projectId":9575308,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for donating to our cozy reading project!
