It is a way of thinking, experimenting, communicating, and discovering. With the materials provided through your support, children have been able to explore color, texture, line, shape, and different artistic techniques while making choices and developing their own ideas.\r\n\r\nWe have seen children approach their work with excitement and confidence. They experiment, make changes, try again, and proudly share their discoveries. These experiences help strengthen fine-motor skills, creativity, problem-solving, persistence, and independence. Most importantly, having access to beautiful, high-quality materials sends a powerful message to young children: their ideas matter, their creativity matters, and they are artists.\r\n\r\nYour support has helped us create an environment where children can slow down, observe, wonder, and create without being limited by the quality of the materials available to them. You have helped make our Atelier a place where our youngest rising artists can take creative risks and see themselves as capable and valued.\r\n\r\nWe are deeply grateful for your investment in our children and in their creative development. Thank you for helping us give them the tools, materials, and experiences to explore their artistic potential.","fullyFundedDate":1672694627498,"projectUrl":"project/artist-quality-for-our-youngest-rising-a/6842308/","projectTitle":"Artist Quality for Our Youngest Rising Artists","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jessika","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6915262_orig.jpg?crop=1844,1844,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1786471986622","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/msjessikaandtheatelier"},{"teacherId":8844127,"projectId":9527943,"letterContent":"Thank you for your donations towards writing materials and general use materials in our classroom this past year! Students loved having tiny, individual journals of their own to write and draw in. They also loved using the magnadoodles and even learned some tricks (who knew that you could move magnets with them too?) \r\n\r\nStudents fully embraced having a child sized broom in the classroom. During clean up time this past year, it was a popular task to sweep the crumbs, scraps, and other odds and ends after play! Teachers made good use of the rolls of tape to hang up work around the classroom. \r\n\r\nWe absolutely couldn't have done it without donors like you, so thank you again for helping contribute to a fabulous school year last year!","fullyFundedDate":1755725269507,"projectUrl":"project/writing-and-refreshing-in-the-new-year/9527943/","projectTitle":"Writing and Refreshing in the New Year","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ramos","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8844127_orig.jpg?crop=2448,2448,x0,y489&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1673476903070","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8844127"},{"teacherId":6917060,"projectId":9670825,"letterContent":"Our children were very excited to have water play in the ocean themed STEAM room. \r\nThey have been using the water table in so many ways. They love counting arms and legs on ocean creatures and discussing the colors and patterns they discover in the small world ocean set up. They compare similarities and differences and create their own sorting games. The children are especially engaged in the movement of water and soapy bubbles. They have been problem solving and discovering different ways to transport water as well. They discovered weight and volume and a multitude of cause and effect opportunities. We will continue our exploration of water movement and physics. \r\nWe will be creating activities using colored translucent pipe connectors to allow a deeper exploration. The children can create their own pathways for the water flow and strengthen problem solving and creativity skills. They will have different size containers to further explore water properties, cause and effect as well as weight and volume. We will be adding different things to the water to enhance the visual as it goes through the pipes and possible color changing opportunities.","fullyFundedDate":1757519986800,"projectUrl":"project/water-play-for-pre-k-ocean-steam-exp/9670825/","projectTitle":"Water Play for Pre-K Ocean S.T.E.A.M Explorations","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Barnes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6917060_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1572127843970","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6917060"},{"teacherId":9238916,"projectId":9142442,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom.
