We will be heading back to school in a hybrid fashion in the near future and I can't wait! Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we need to sanitize in a new way in order to prevent illness. So, due to this, we are not allowed soft fabrics or wood baskets because they may become damaged. As my classroom had many wood baskets to hold many of our classroom supplies, I would like the soft plastic baskets that will be able to withstand the sanitizing spray and are able to be disinfected. A feeling of home is what I hope to provide my students with this one piece of furniture. To me, this couch would symbolize home and be a familiar comfort from home. I would love to provide my students a clean durable option where they can sit and have a familiar symbol of home. They can sit for a quiet moment when needed, talk with a friend or cuddle up and read a good book. To me, this couch would be a warm welcoming addition to my classroom. As my students will be coming back to school since the pandemic hit, I want them to feel at home!
