Your generosity has provided us with essential new resources that are already transforming our hands-on learning experiences.\r\n\r\nWith the funds you donated, we were able to purchase a full set of new beakers, hotplates, digital balance, test tubes and holders. These items aren't just tools; they are the foundation of our scientific exploration. We recently used them for a lesson chemical reaction rates. Having enough equipment for every student to participate actively meant we could conduct the experiment with precision and confidence, rather than working in large, unwieldy groups. The beakers, hot plates, and test tubes allowed us to carefully measure and mix our reactants with hot and cold water, and students could watch how it affected the rate of the reaction. A truly magical moment of chemistry in action.\r\n\r\nYou should have seen the students' faces when they first walked into the lab and saw all the new materials laid out on their benches. One student exclaimed, \"This feels like a real lab now!\" That simple comment spoke volumes. It's more than just having the right tools; it's about feeling like true scientists, ready to tackle a real-world problem. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and it has made every subsequent lesson even more engaging.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in our classroom and investing in the future scientists and innovators among us. Your support makes a tangible difference every day.\r\n\r\nSincerely,","fullyFundedDate":1757512135219,"projectUrl":"project/chemistry-class-in-need-of-a-lab/9687401/","projectTitle":"Chemistry Class in Need of a Lab!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. McGovern","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10243542_orig.png?crop=796,796,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757365176569","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10243542"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_53728","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":200,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":6,"percentBlack":16,"percentWhite":24,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":43,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"11 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR District Record","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":69.5,"schoolId":53728,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Gerald Creamer Center on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Gerald Creamer Center","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/massachusetts/worcester-public-schools/gerald-creamer-center/53728"}
