All year I worked to get evaluated and become his Living Donor. \r\n\r\nOver the Summer, I got news I was a match and surgery took place mid-July. Your donation, believe it or not, was the key to starting my year without stress. Because I was bedridden for several weeks at a time in between energy depletions, I knew going out to get supplies was not an option. Materials to open a classroom were already taken care of and accounted for so that set up, distribution, storage, and availability was pre-planned and ready to go before the students even arrived. \r\n\r\nYour donation helped me to plan and prepare for almost 300 students' return to school. The refreshment in general helped me to eliminate old and used materials that wouldn't work in our environment this year. My first and second term students have already completed interactive notebooks, projects, and classwork packets using these supplies. \r\n\r\nThis means so much to our students and to me. They are also excited to have model magic to work with. That has been a request every year from students. They are looking forward to being able to sculpt different aspects of their project now. \r\nOur health classroom works to allow all students the space and opportunity to succeed and express themselves. Filling our makerspace area with all the necessary tools, like glue, scissors, paper, etc., will allow students to be more successful and creative as they express themselves in a hands-on format.
