Your thoughtfulness and contribution has allowed students to start the year off feeling prepared and comfortable. For the past year, our school has not provided staff with tissues and hand sanitizer due to budgeting issues. This has left classrooms with either a lack of supplies or teachers needing to provide them. Your contribution to the classroom as allowed students to feel at ease in order to get what they needed. \r\n\r\nWhen students saw the supplies come in, they were excited. Some of my students do not always get new things. It felt like Christmas morning for them. The staff members in my program were excited because that meant that we did not have to budget each month to see who needed to get what to ensure our classroom runs the way it needs to. \r\n\r\nSome of the supplies such as the pencils and tissue boxes have served as props for classroom projects and even the project themselves! For example, one of my students nedeed one of the tissue boxes for his Element project.
