Our students were very excited when our items arrived. \r\n\r\nYour thoughtful donations helped our classroom purchase these items to help our students have tools that they could use to engage them in their learning and play for STEM activities. A couple of these items that they enjoy using most are magnetic tiles and brain flakes. With these items tour learners are able to build, and since they include parts with wheels they have the opportunity ti build vehicles which for them brings so much joy to their day.\r\n\r\nIn addition, we were able to provide our students with manipulatives that help with their one-to-one counting. Our students enjoy using the bear counters and ten frames to count, but they also incorporate them into their building activities as well. \r\n\r\nWe thank you for making our classroom a choice when considering where to donate funds.","fullyFundedDate":1777996325000,"projectUrl":"project/stem-and-math-manipulatives-for-preschoo/10182198/","projectTitle":"STEM and Math Manipulatives for Preschool","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Paula","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10377547_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y115&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1776898585651","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10377547"},{"teacherId":10377547,"projectId":10015259,"letterContent":"Being able to purchase a higher quality laminator for our classroom has meant that our students have been able to have laminated visuals more readily available to them in a timely manner. \r\n\r\nPreviously, we were working with a laminator that would jam often. We would need to reprint pages and re-laminate them. This was not only timely but costly as well. This purchase.\r\n\r\nIn addition, it has allowed us to do more creative things with our students. We use name tags, that displays student names. This helps preschool students with literacy and name recognition. Having a better quality laminator allowed us to let students decorate their own name tags each season with crayons and stickers, laminate them and put them at their desks. These are small things that have a big impact on instilling pride in our students an their work.","fullyFundedDate":1772227170913,"projectUrl":"project/laminator-for-little-learners/10015259/","projectTitle":"Laminator for Little Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Paula","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10377547_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y115&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1776898585651","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10377547"},{"teacherId":10377547,"projectId":10062013,"letterContent":"Our students were so excited to get these items in our classroom last spring. Preschool students are huge fans of dinosaurs, cars and building. Having magnetic tiles that can be used to make cars is great not only for imaginative play and building skills, but also as a STEM activity. \r\n\r\nThe dinosaur building set was an activity that our students were excited to try but it took them a bit to understand how to use. Once they figured it out, they really enjoyed it. They especially liked being able to use a drill to put together the dinosaurs and take them apart. There was only one in the set so this helped promote sharing for our students. \r\n\r\nThe students in my classroom also really enjoy robots. One of our students brought in a toy from home that was a fidget toy, and the other students in my classroom were very interested in it. We were able to provide a set of these for our whole class to use and they were a hit. The set includes different colors, so they allow for a sensory and educational activity at the same time. \r\n\r\nAdditionally, your donation allowed us to purchase quite a few tins of putty for our students. Putty helps sensory needs, but also develop fine motor skills as well. Thank you so much for helping with the development of our students' minds and bodies through the purchase of these items.","fullyFundedDate":1774963630720,"projectUrl":"project/sensory-and-stem-for-preschool-play-and/10062013/","projectTitle":"Sensory and STEM for preschool play and learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Paula","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10377547_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y115&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1776898585651","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10377547"},{"teacherId":10377547,"projectId":10003023,"letterContent":"My students have loved being able to paint with watercolors in our classroom, having them allowed us to complete an art project which allowed our students to take part in having their artwork hung around the school. \r\n\r\nIn addition your thoughtful donation allowed us to purchase items which are meant to last for young learners. What this has meant for my students is that we have been able to use these items for a variety of projects since they arrived. \r\n\r\nWe have been able to use the multi colored trays and non spill water cups for art and crafts projects. They allow for quick clean up, which is extremely important with young learners.
