As an educator I believe that it is essential for students to be involved in their learning. Every child is unique and deserves to be an active participant in their education. Children learn in a multitude of ways and it is up to me to be able to meet those diverse needs through differentiating. I have been an educator for the past 13 years and have observed the many ways that children learn and have had to adapt my teaching to meet the diverse needs of each child. I truly love teaching and continue to look for ways to improve myself as an educator, and to look for ways to improve the education of my students. Every new school year brings me 25 learners with a multitude of personalities, needs, and abilities, and with this comes my willingness to adapt, patience, and self-reflection to make the changes that help every child.
