Students can easily locate and clean up materials with ease. It has been so helpful to remove our old shelving and replace it with updated storage. They were shocked and excited. The organization made them so thrilled that it made getting materials easier than it was before. Students are continuing to learn science topics. Students in fourth grade just finished a volcano unit, third graders completed an extreme weather unit, second graders finished a habitat unit, first graders learned about 4 animal adaptations: mimicry, hibernation, migration, and camouflage, and kindergarteners finished living versus nonliving things. Because of you, I was able to repair many instruments, develop recording techniques, and give the students more opportunities to play. I used the elastic string to repair the castanets I did have and the extra castanets made it possible for all of the students to try the instruments and learn the rhythms at once. The mic stand has made it possible to properly amplify and record the students performances.
