So far this school year, all of my 7th graders have used the Posca paint markers and Prismacolor colored pencils to create their own graffiti name designs on \"brick walls.\" Their finished pieces looked like authentic graffiti art!\r\n\r\nWe studied the graffiti movement that began with teenagers in the 70s, 80s, and 90s, and my students connected deeply with the energy and creativity of that era. When I first introduced the materials, their eyes lit up! They were so excited to use real, professional grade art supplies. It's truly amazing what students can do when given sophisticated tools to express themselves.\r\n\r\nEvery one of my 7th graders (about 150 students) has treated the materials with care and pride. They understand how special these supplies are, and it shows in their respect for the tools and the artwork they've created.\r\n\r\nAs the year continues, I plan to use these materials with my 5th, 6th, and 8th graders as well. I'm preparing meaningful projects that will allow them to explore their creativity and continue growing as artists. Your support has made a lasting impact on our classroom! Because of your kindness, we were able to introduce flexible seating options and a variety of fidgets into our learning space—tools that have already made a meaningful difference in the daily experiences of our students.\r\n\r\nThese additions have given students a safe, supportive way to decompress when they are experiencing big feelings. Instead of feeling overwhelmed or shutting down, they now have calming tools and seating choices that help them regulate their emotions in a healthy and empowering way. Whether it's taking a moment in a cozy chair, using a fidget to self-soothe, or choosing a seating style that helps them stay comfortable and focused, our classroom has become a space that truly works for them.\r\n\r\nThe transformation in engagement during lessons has also been incredible.
