Students look forward to reaching the challenge of a \"Level Lifter\" and showing off their growth using our tracking charts. \r\n\r\nStudents have surprised themselves with their ability. The rug is beautiful and they were so excited to see all of the nice things you provided to give them a comfortable learning space. I wish I could have taken a picture, their jaws dropped and they screamed with joy! This space you created is also a center for emotional regulation; the kids benefit tremendously. I combine this calm and smart focus area with the box of fidgets YOU provided. Not only do the fidgets help our neurodivergent students focus, the toys are clutch for much-needed fun during indoor recess.\r\n\r\nLast, but not least, thank you for contributing to their health and hygiene. The kids are very active and often need Band-Aids. 5th grade is an age where many of their bodies are transitioning to adolescence. Many of the students shyly ask me for deoderant, and I'm glad I can provide that. Now it is in the little cubby space you provided and they are no longer shy, as it is normalized in the classroom.
