Because of your contributions, this space has been transformed into a calm, welcoming environment where students can truly reset and refocus. We are using the new flexible seating, including the bounce chairs and mobile seating, to give students choice and comfort based on their individual needs. Some students benefit from gentle movement while they reflect, while others use the space to quietly regroup. One powerful moment was seeing a student enter the room feeling overwhelmed, choose a fidget tool and a comfortable chair, and within minutes begin to regulate their emotions and re-engage with their schoolwork. These resources are helping students build independence and self-awareness in meaningful ways.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, students were immediately curious and excited. The fidget tools, in particular, sparked a lot of interest, and students were eager to explore how they could use them to manage stress and stay focused. The updated seating made the room feel different right away—more inviting, more supportive, and truly designed with their needs in mind. Many students expressed that the space felt \"calmer\" and more comfortable, which is exactly what we hoped to achieve.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we will continue to use these resources to support both emotional regulation and restorative practices. Students are learning how to identify what they need in moments of stress and how to use the tools appropriately to return to class ready to learn. The Reset Room is becoming an essential part of our school community, benefiting not only the students who use it, but their classrooms as well.
