During whole and small group time, independent reading and centers, students are able to use flexible seating to support engagement and accessibility. I've used the flex seating to dictate a students story, assist during rest time, or simply have a moment to sit and breathe. The students were so excited to see packages coming to class and knowing the items inside were for them, they giggled and screeched with excitement. \r\n\r\nThe next steps are to continue incorporating flexible seating which strengthens student engagement, turn taking and taking responsibility for classroom materials. These skills will be worked on throughout the year and helps to build character, a caring and accountable community of little learners ready for the next level learning.","fullyFundedDate":1735657782375,"projectUrl":"project/all-abilities-need-support/8760911/","projectTitle":"All Abilities Need Support","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Johnson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9698268_orig.jpg?crop=1644,1644,x316,y864&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1735667483787","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9698268"},{"teacherId":9698268,"projectId":9198408,"letterContent":"We've encountered many issues with the school printer either not working, out of ink, jammed paper, your ID badge not registering, your copies being mixed in with someone else's and now they've taken it because they didn't look through it first paperwork and the list goes on. Also our classroom is the furthest away from the next available printer/copier in the building, which would take at least 4-6 minutes to walk to, print/copy, walk back to class, if there's no one else in line waiting or the copier is working appropriately. \r\n\r\nWith your generosity, care and attention to the needs of the community of children and families, in which the Grew Elementary serves, we want to say thank you. The technology we received has supported the classroom by making printing more accessible for printing and copying important documents, (i.e. parental notices, IEP's, calendars, copying student work, small group or individual plans, and work sheets) \r\n\r\nOur students like when we copy the work they have done and are able to take a copy home and we keep one for their portfolio or display in class. Some can relate to home because their family has a printer as well. Again, thank you for the generous donation.","fullyFundedDate":1746786908166,"projectUrl":"project/animals-on-the-loose/9198408/","projectTitle":"Animals on the Loose!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Johnson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9698268_orig.jpg?crop=1644,1644,x316,y864&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1735667483787","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9698268"},{"teacherId":4775283,"projectId":9507208,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our project! The clear bins have already made such a big difference in our kindergarten classroom. With everything neatly organized and easy to see, my students can independently find the materials they need for learning and play. This small change has given them a big sense of responsibility and ownership over their classroom.\r\n\r\nWhen the bins first arrived, the students were so excited to help me unpack and sort materials. One child exclaimed, \"Now I can see all the math materials!\" while another was thrilled that the math manipulatives finally had their own special spot. It was a joyful moment watching them realize how these bins would make their learning time smoother and more fun.\r\n\r\nWe are currently working on a hands-on math unit with counting and sorting. Because of the new bins, students can quickly grab the right manipulatives for their group work and return them with confidence. This independence has freed up more time for me to give small group support and has helped students transition between activities with ease.\r\n\r\nThanks to you, our classroom feels more organized, welcoming, and student-centered. These bins will continue to support our projects all year long, and I know my students will keep taking pride in caring for their learning space.","fullyFundedDate":1753990698509,"projectUrl":"project/bins-to-win-keeping-kindergarten-clean/9507208/","projectTitle":"Bins to Win: Keeping Kindergarten Clean","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Nunez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4775283_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1574733436293","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/nancy-nunez"},{"teacherId":9698268,"projectId":9022520,"letterContent":"It is with much gratitude and an appreciative heart that we say thank you for your generous donations for our K0/K1 Inclusion class. The fact that we received all of the items on our list, is the biggest and most amazing donation I have ever received in my entire teaching career! As the boxes came in, the scholars eyes were very wide, excitement filled the room like opening a birthday gift. They thought I went shopping for new materials and I explained to them that some very generous donors purchased all these items for our to make your brains smarter and have even more learning in the class. \r\n\r\nThe scholars are have learned how to share, wait their turn and encourage one another to keep trying even when things get hard. The donation has created more seating opportunities for collaboration, team building and added new activities for small group instruction, which my para is able to support our smallest learners, and learn new teaching skills as well. The donations and the joy brought to my scholars is a moment I will never forget. With these new resources, each student now has their own dedicated space for personal belongings and learning tools. This has fostered a sense of ownership and responsibility among the students, helping them stay organized and focused throughout the day. \r\n\r\nOne standout moment was during a recent group project where students worked on creating models for a science lesson. The cubbies kept all their materials neatly stored and accessible, ensuring that nothing was misplaced and every student could contribute efficiently. \r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the cubbies, their excitement was palpable. There were gasps of surprise and enthusiastic chatter as they explored their new spaces. One student exclaimed, \"This is just for me?
