In our room we have many personalities, strengths, and challenges. We help each other, not only academically, but socially. Students have great empathy for each other and are always offering a helping hand. This also allows us to laugh with each other and have a fun time. We also all like to dance, and during indoor recess we practice the Cha Cha Slide, the Cupid Shuffle, or just our own moves. It is a necessity for students to feel safe and have fun in school. We are working hard this year to be risk takers--to persevere and keep working even when it is hard. I am amazed by their attitudes and their dedication to becoming their best. They are not giving up, and they won't settle for less than their best. Together we are a community that respects everyone and celebrate differences and learn from one another.
