Throughout the school year we are so busy creating, writing and using different materials to help make learning fun. But as we move closer to the end of the school year, our resources get used up or need to be replaced. With your help, I was able to make learning fun and engaging by refreshing our classroom materials to keep the learning fun.\r\n It is people like you who understand that school is more than just workbooks and lectures. When I am able to engage the students in multiple and different ways, their learning truly begins to blossom. The students were so excited to receive and use these new materials, and it is all thanks to you. I hope you know how impactful your donation truly was. With your help, the entire kindergarten team at my school was able to provide the students with a special gift to end the school year after their promotion ceremony. The students were very excited to recieve a new box of crayons along with an animal eraser atop of a fancy pencil. However, the part of the gift they were the most excited about was the book, \"The Night Before First Grade\". Many of the students were nervous about moving on to first grade, but this book opened up the conversation of things that they should be looking forward to in the next school year. \r\n Not only was I able to provide the students with a specialized gift, but the parents were also appreciative of the laminated kindergarten promotion certificate. The laminated sheets helped to protect the certificate so that it would not get damaged. I had enough laminating sheets to create a special picture and poem as a keepsake for each student. These additional gifts added a special personal touch for each student and their families.\r\n Again, I want to thank you for helping complete this project for these kindergarten students this year. Without your help, I would not have been able to provide these gifts to my students. I appreciate all that you contributed to make the end of this year so special to us.","fullyFundedDate":1746035920308,"projectUrl":"project/kindergarden-was-fun-but-were-ready-f/9168515/","projectTitle":"Kindergarden Was Fun, but We're Ready for Grade 1!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Queen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4515495_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1498614252749","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4515495"},{"teacherId":6401873,"projectId":8974272,"letterContent":"I want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of anxiety-calming stickers, a Jenga puzzle, magnetic tiles, and other materials for our quiet corner.\r\n\r\nThese thoughtful contributions have already made a meaningful difference in the daily lives of our students. The quiet corner has become a peaceful, welcoming space where children can self-regulate their emotions, refocus, and return to learning with a clearer mind. The calming stickers are especially appreciated by students who benefit from tactile and visual grounding tools during moments of anxiety. The Jenga puzzle and magnetic tiles engage them creatively and promote mindfulness and cooperation.\r\n\r\nThe students loved the anxiety-calming stickers and raved about them to the school counselor. Working with the counselor, our class chose to share them throughout the school with students in other classrooms who also benefited from your thoughtful donation. \r\n\r\nYour donation has allowed us to promote the idea that our classroom and school are places where they feel safe, heard, and supported. Your generosity has helped us nurture a more inclusive, emotionally supportive learning environment.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in the emotional well-being of our students.
