In two pictures, students are kicking their feet against the chair bands. These were especially helpful later in the day, when students grew more restless. It helped many students enjoying sitting at the table. It also gave those who needed to move a way to move while also staying engaged with small group instruction.\r\n\r\nIn another photo, you see students using the clipboards with the sensory stickers. They loved the stickers, and I would see them rubbing them with their fingers during discussions. You will also see laminated cards. Those were conversation cards I created with sentence starters for maintaining academic conversations. The laminations kept them in good use. By the end of the school year, students didn't need to use the cards anymore!
