This project has enlightened their awareness of giving back to their community as well as the development of their leadership skills. The students were very excited to create the get well cards when they saw the supplies for the patients in the local hospital. They were eager to begin the project. They loved all the various options modeled and some even became innovative by creating their own cards. This project was so successful that it will be offered to all the grade levels as a school wide project for next year.
