This has helped them independently find and return manipulatives without needing constant directions. As a result, transitions during lessons are faster, smoother, and more focused on learning.\r\n\r\nWe are also using the manipulatives regularly during hands-on lessons, especially in math and small group instruction. Students are more engaged because they can quickly access what they need and stay focused on the task instead of searching for materials.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the new organization system, they were excited and immediately noticed how easy it was to see everything. Many of them began using the materials right away and took ownership of keeping the bins organized.\r\n\r\nThe numbered Chromebook stickers have also helped students quickly identify their devices and build responsibility with technology use. This has reduced confusion and helped our daily routines run more efficiently.","fullyFundedDate":1758636745679,"projectUrl":"project/labled-sorted-and-ready-to-learn/9468316/","projectTitle":"Labled, Sorted and Ready to Learn!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rodriguez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8936130_orig.jpg?crop=1834,1834,x514,y504&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1674787841682","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8936130"},{"teacherId":8402786,"projectId":10041654,"letterContent":"I sincerely thank you for bringing Big Books to Grow Little Minds to my students. With the resources your donations provided, I have been able to make stories come alive for the students. Instead of just listening to me read aloud, the students are now able to see the text well in the Big Books and read along in a Shared Reading of the books. \r\n When I work with my groups, students read the repeated phrases and easy to read portions with me to join in the fun of reading! Students have really enjoyed being able to see the words and recognize words by sight as they've been learning some stories have repeated phrases we can remember. They also love the beautiful illustrations that are so easy to see now because I have these big books. This makes students thrilled now to act out the stories in our retelling of the text.\r\n What I am most impressed by is how the resources have increased student engagement. My English learners who were shy or unsure are now saying the vocabulary words, sight words and sentences found in these resources. Being able to see the books clearly because of the larger text has helped more students begin to participate, especially when we also act the stories out. In addition the English Vocabulary book with the talking pen helps them practice new words. And the Storyteller's Box has helped me use stories to teach sentence structure. When students work hard, show kindness, or demonstrate great effort in their learning, they earn the opportunity to choose a treasure. This helps motivate them to stay focused and do their best every day. One special moment happened when a student who had been struggling with math worked very hard during a fractions lesson. The pride and excitement on his face were unforgettable.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new treasures, they were incredibly excited. Because of your support, our students now have access to a color printer. It is already making a meaningful difference in their learning experience.\r\n\r\nAs an elementary teacher working with second language learners, visuals are not just helpful, they are essential! Many of my students are developing English proficiency as they are building foundational academic skills. The ability to print in color has significantly enhanced my ability to create meaningful, accessible learning materials.\r\n\r\nWith this printer, my students now benefit from:\r\n\r\n• Printed visuals that strengthen their understanding of English vocabulary\r\n• Clear, vibrant images that help connect words to meaning\r\n• Posters and anchor charts that reinforce language concepts and academic skills\r\n• Manipulatives that support small group instruction\r\n• Color-coded resources that improve comprehension and retention\r\n\r\nHaving a color printer has made a powerful difference in our classroom. Students are better able to associate vocabulary with images, recognize patterns, follow directions, engage with content more confidently and retain what they're learning. Visual supports that were once limited to black and white can now be produced quickly and tailored to student needs in vibrant colors, which helps to maintain students' interest and keep them engaged.\r\n\r\nIn small group instruction, the printer allows me to design targeted materials that support phonics, vocabulary development, and language structures. Anchor charts and posters provide ongoing reference points, while manipulatives create interactive opportunities for practice and reinforcement.\r\n\r\nYour support has directly contributed to a more equitable and engaging learning environment. You have provided tools that empower students to access language, build confidence, and experience success.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of my students and our classroom community, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and belief in our learners.","fullyFundedDate":1762289675356,"projectUrl":"project/printing-in-color-empowering-esl-learne/9651763/","projectTitle":"Printing in Color--Empowering ESL Learners with Visual Tools","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Forest-Blain","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8355551_orig.jpg?crop=573,574,x0,y17&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1759795588237","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8355551"},{"teacherId":3151717,"projectId":9833299,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for giving to this unique project.
