These resources have transformed our weekly volleyball club meetings into a more engaging, skill-focused, and exciting experience for our students. The equipment is being used during practices to help students improve serving, passing, hitting, defensive movement, and overall volleyball fundamentals while building confidence and teamwork.\r\n\r\nThe students were extremely excited when they first saw the new materials. Many immediately wanted to try out the arm sleeves and use the training equipment during drills and activities. One of the most memorable moments was watching students use the spiking training equipment while encouraging one another and celebrating successful attempts. The training aid cards have also been very helpful because students can visually follow drills, techniques, and skill progressions during practice. These resources have created a more structured and authentic volleyball experience that keeps students motivated and eager to learn each week.\r\n\r\nAs we continue the volleyball club, students will keep refining their volleyball fundamentals, strengthening communication and teamwork skills, and preparing for friendly scrimmages and competitions. My family recently experienced the loss of my father, and I truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this difficult time.\r\nI am so grateful for your support of Fuel the Future: Vikings Strength and Conditioning. Your generosity has already made a meaningful impact on my students and our program.\r\nWhen my students first saw the new equipment, many were both excited and nervous. A lot of them had never used this type of fitness equipment before, but they were eager to learn. Seeing their curiosity turn into confidence has been one of the most rewarding parts of this experience. Students have been learning to use resistance bands, medicine balls, weights, and other fitness equipment safely and properly while challenging themselves to become stronger and healthier.\r\nOne of the things I love most about this program is watching students encourage one another. Not every student has the opportunity to participate on one of our school sports teams, but this program gives them another place to belong, be active, and discover their own strength. Students are learning that strength is not just about how much weight they can lift—it is also about discipline, perseverance, confidence, and being willing to try something new.\r\nNow that we have concluded our second year, I want to build on the program's success and reach even more students. Our next step is to expand the use of the equipment to all of our middle school sports teams. I am working toward creating a schedule where each team can have designated time slots to use the equipment throughout their season. This will allow our student-athletes to incorporate safe, structured strength and conditioning into their athletic development.\r\nAt the same time, I plan to continue growing the after-school Strength and Conditioning program so that more students can participate, including students who are not on a sports team. Since our school also offers Saturday School, I would like to eventually offer a Saturday strength and conditioning session as another opportunity for students to participate. I will also extend this offer to our school staff.\r\nThis project is helping us build something much bigger than an after-school fitness program. Fuel the Future: Vikings Strength and Conditioning is creating a culture where every student—not just athletes—has the opportunity to move, grow, challenge themselves, and develop healthy habits that can last a lifetime.\r\nThank you for believing in my students and investing in their future. Your support is helping them discover that they are capable of more than they may have believed possible.","fullyFundedDate":1766441439175,"projectUrl":"project/fuel-the-future-vikings-strength-and-co/9666067/","projectTitle":"Fuel the Future: Vikings Strength and Conditioning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. James","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9615113_orig.jpg?crop=422,422,x401,y512&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756574755813","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9615113"},{"teacherId":10075436,"projectId":9455944,"letterContent":"I truly appreciate your contribution to my classroom.
