Their faces lit up with excitement as they chose their favorites, and it quickly became a fun way to celebrate positive moods and good behavior in the classroom.\r\n\r\nThe students were eager to share their stickers with each other, and it sparked so much joy and encouragement. When my students first saw the magazines, they were so happy! They opened them right away, looking at pictures and trying to read the words. These magazines help them learn new words, understand stories, and feel excited about reading.\r\n\r\nIn our class, we use the magazines in small reading groups. Students take turns reading and talking about new words. One special moment was when my second graders read about animals in winter. They were excited to share their own stories and made \"winter animal fact sheets\" from the article. It made me so happy to see them learning and feeling more confident.\r\n\r\nNext, my students will use the magazines to practice writing. They will write about what they read in their own words. Each student also has a composition notebook to write their thoughts, summaries, and creative stories. This will help them become better readers and writers.
