My students are bright, curious, creative, and full of ideas! They are second- and third-grade learners who come to school each day ready to explore, ask questions, collaborate, and discover new ways to express what they know. My students have wonderful ideas to share, and I want to give them more opportunities to put those ideas into words. For many young learners, especially students who are developing their English language skills, writing can be a powerful way to build confidence, communicate their thinking, and make connections across subjects.
