From the moment it arrived, my students were so excited to roll it out and claim it as \"our new special place.\" One of the things I love most about this carpet is how it fits all of my students perfectly. Before, we struggled to squeeze into smaller spaces, but now every child has a spot and feels like they truly belong. Having a comfortable, defined space has transformed our classroom into a warm and welcoming environment where everyone is included.\r\n\r\nThe carpet has quickly become the heart of our daily routines. We gather there each morning for our morning meeting, which sets such a positive tone for the day. Sitting together in a circle helps us build trust, community, and friendships in ways that desks simply could not. I also love using the carpet for small groups, where students can sit closer and feel more connected to the lesson. Whether we are working on reading, math, or just sharing ideas, the carpet creates a cozy, collaborative environment that makes learning engaging and fun.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, the carpet has helped us build a stronger classroom community. It is our space for read-alouds, problem-solving, sharing our writing, and celebrating each other's successes. It has become the place where students learn not just academics, but also respect, kindness, and teamwork. On behalf of myself and every student in my class, thank you for making this possible. Your generosity has provided us with more than just a carpet; you have given us a gathering place where we can learn, connect, and grow together every day.","fullyFundedDate":1746762902053,"projectUrl":"project/new-classroom-rug/9210414/","projectTitle":"New Classroom Rug!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. John","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9979301"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_64852","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":453,"numTeachers":34,"percentFrplEligible":45,"percentAsian":15,"percentBlack":18,"percentWhite":24,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":35,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"13.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":67.2,"schoolId":64852,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Fields Road Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Fields Road Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/maryland/montgomery-county-public-schools/fields-road-elementary-school/64852"}
