As a first year teacher a lot of my own money has been going into my classroom to make it exciting and inviting as a place to learn. One major key to making my classroom complete is a classroom rug. A classroom carpet is essential in any classroom. It has many uses. The most important use, is a comfortable place for students to come together as a class and work in a community setting. A carpet provides a comfortable place for students to sit and work. My future students and I will use this classroom carpet to gather every morning for morning meetings. It will also be used as a place for whole group math and an open space for students to work independently or in groups.
