Their choice to remain anonymous adds a quiet kind of kindness to the gesture, but the impact has been anything but quiet. Our students are energized by the fresh equipment, and the addition of clocks has opened the door for real tournament‑style practice. It's been exciting to watch them lean into the challenge of timed play and build confidence for upcoming competitions.\r\n\r\nThe new boards have also helped us welcome a growing number of students.
