The Samsung Chromebooks will allow my students the opportunity to complete the online assignments that I use to supplement their learning. Some students have access to laptops or PCs at home, but several don't. They would benefit from being able to complete these assignments when class time allows it. The technology will also allow my students to get valuable practice for online PARCC exams next year. They need to be familiar with the online format to be prepared, and it puts some of them at a disadvantage when they are only able to start practicing during the week of exams. Having the opportunity to practice earlier with these new Chromebooks will mean the difference between a pass and fail for some of them.
