Because of your generosity, my students now have lab coats and nitrile gloves that allow them to safely participate in our hands-on science experiments.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials arrived, the excitement in the classroom was immediate. As students tried on their lab coats and gloves for the first time, many of them said they felt like \"real scientists.\" In fact, several students became so excited about the gear that they asked if they could wear their lab coats and gloves even on days when we weren't doing labs because it made them feel more connected to the work we were doing in class.\r\n\r\nOne student in particular shared that he hopes to become a tattoo artist one day. He was especially excited about the gloves because he said they made him feel like he was practicing for his future career. Moments like this remind me that these materials do more than support safety in the classroom. They help students imagine themselves in real-world professions.\r\n\r\nHaving the proper protective equipment has made our lab experiences more engaging and inclusive. Students can now fully participate without worrying about safety, and they approach experiments with more confidence and curiosity.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has helped create an environment where my students can explore science, ask questions, and see themselves in future careers that use these skills.
