These suits have already made such a difference for our Pre-K students last school year. We were able to bring learning outdoors even on soggy and wet days. Now our students are able to fully enjoy our mud kitchen, sandbox, puddles, and nature exploration without worrying about getting soaked or muddy.\r\n\r\nWhen the rain suits arrived, the students were so excited to see them and even more excited to put them on. There is something pretty special about being four or five years old and being told that, yes, you really can jump in that puddle! Their excitement, confidence, and willingness to explore were immediate.\r\n\r\nOne of our favorite moments has been watching the children use the suits during outdoor play as they dig, pour, build, mix, and investigate in our mud kitchen and sandbox. One even thought he could lay in the puddles! What looks like messy play is actually filled with learning—children are strengthening motor skills, practicing cooperation, solving problems, using their imaginations, and learning about the natural world around them.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue building more outdoor learning experiences into our school days. As the seasons change, we will use our outdoor space for science observations, nature collections, building projects, sensory exploration, and plenty of child-led discovery. Because of your generosity, weather and mud no longer have to limit those experiences.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping our youngest learners get outside, get messy, explore, and learn.
