We have 27 students in each class this year and the new calculators have been extremely useful. I have numbered them all and assigned one calculator per desk and the students have taken pride in making sure the calculators are returned to the correct desk at the end of class. It has been a blast being able to explain how to input fractions into the calculators now that the directions are universal for all the calculators. It's been awesome to have calculators that don't have different modes or games available to get distracted with. The calculators have been an awesome tool for our students and have been immensely helpful when working with distributive property and variables in this unit. I noticed that students who have missed some foundational work with multiplication in previous years really enjoy that the calculators are easy to use. We are so thankful that no one has to share calculators anymore and we can all access the learning with our calculators as support. Thank you for choosing us for your donation. Students are normally at this level for a longer period of time making it so we need many sets of books. Students are already getting to use the books purchased in the project!
