Our school has 1 small computer lab that is shared by all 500 students. Being able to give my student's a chance to use these computers, is virtually impossible. New Ipads would provide the students an opportunity to learn how to maneuver and use electronics appropriately, as well as research topics, create videos for assignments, and play educational games as an incentive for positive behavior. Many of my students have IEP's that require speech to text options for writing, as well as books with a read aloud option. Ipads would provide this option for them. We live in a world where technology is everywhere! I would like to be able to provide my student's the opportunity to be familiar with technology and the many educational uses they provide.
