These simple but powerful tools have noticeably improved student learning, independence, and classroom management.\r\n\r\nHeadphones have helped create a calmer, more focused learning environment. With individualized activities on tablets and computers, students are now able to concentrate without the distraction of multiple audio sources playing at once. This has been especially beneficial for my English Language Learners and students who need clearer, more direct auditory input. Because each child can listen at their own pace, I have seen increased engagement, stronger participation in literacy and math programs, and improved overall confidence.\r\n\r\nTable organizers have transformed the way my students manage their materials. For many young learners, staying organized can be a challenge. Having a dedicated place for pencils, crayons, scissors, and supplies helps them transition smoothly between activities and reduces time spent searching for materials. Students are taking more responsibility for their belongings and are showing greater independence during work time. This has also allowed for more instructional time and fewer classroom disruptions.\r\n\r\nTogether, these additions have strengthened both individual learning and whole-group instruction. The classroom feels calmer, more structured, and more conducive to productive learning. My students are better able to focus, follow routines, and take pride in their workspaces.\r\n\r\nThank you for supporting tools that truly make a daily difference in our kindergarten classroom. Your contribution has enhanced not only academic learning but also the development of lifelong skills such as organization, responsibility, and independence.","fullyFundedDate":1758202772919,"projectUrl":"project/lets-get-started/9432647/","projectTitle":"Let's Get Started!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Christopher","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10063663_orig.jpg?crop=271,271,x392,y129&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753112445284","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10063663"},{"teacherId":9181135,"projectId":9380616,"letterContent":"Our new class set of headphones has already made a tremendous impact on my fifth graders' learning. With their own headphones, students are now able to focus during online lessons, independent reading, and research activities without the distractions of background noise. This has created a calmer, more focused classroom environment where every student can fully engage with digital resources at their own pace. For many of my students, having access to quality headphones has given them the confidence to explore educational videos, practice reading fluency, and participate in interactive simulations without hesitation.\r\n\r\nAs a teacher, these headphones have opened the door for me to incorporate more technology-based lessons and small group rotations. I can now run differentiated activities at the same time, knowing that each student is able to hear clearly and work independently. This has allowed me to give more one-on-one support to students who need it, while others stay fully engaged in their digital assignments. Thanks to your generosity, I am able to create a more personalized, student-centered learning environment where every child has the tools they need to succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1754077571855,"projectUrl":"project/preparing-our-tigers-for-success/9380616/","projectTitle":"Preparing Our Tigers for Success","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lathers","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9181135_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1720473914267","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9181135"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_15940","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":418,"numTeachers":27,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":6,"percentBlack":56,"percentWhite":5,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":29,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"15.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":51.8,"schoolId":15940,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Twin Oaks Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Twin Oaks Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/louisiana/east-baton-rouge-parish-public-schools/twin-oaks-elementary-school/15940"}
