If this project is fully funded, we can help develop students of good character through a quality program using the game of tennis. Tennis is a sport that promotes healthy competition between individuals and small teams and unlike many other sports, every player has a true opportunity to participate. I have witnessed 100% participation anytime I have introduced the students to tennis versus less than 50% in other team sports where a few dominate and many feel left out. By providing a quality program we can get to the heart of more of our students. If we capture the heart we can capture the mind.
