My students love the books and they have been reading them up a storm. They enjoy getting to go on adventures without every leaving the room. They are truly grateful for all of you that took time and money to help us expand our classroom library.\r\n\r\nMy students were so excited when the books arrived that I have not been able to keep the books on the shelf because they all want to read them. It has been amazing to have to the help and opportunity to give them the gift of new books to read. They tell me all the time about the adventures they are reading about. They have been working very hard during our literacy time. They were tested this week to see if they have grown in literacy from the beginning of the school year. I am happy to say they are growing leaps and bounds all thanks to people like you that help out teachers like me. They earned a reward this week for all of their hard work and guess what they choose! Flashlight reading! This is where they get to hide under their desk with a book and a flashlight and read. They loved this activity and they love the books they are reading.
