The bean bags have quickly become a favorite spot during independent reading and small-group instruction, giving students a cozy place to focus and feel safe. Our new bookshelf has helped us organize and display books so students can easily access them, which has sparked more interest and independence in choosing what to read. The academic manipulatives are being used daily during math and literacy lessons, allowing students to learn hands-on and build confidence as they explore new concepts. The jellyfish light lamp has become part of our calm-down area, helping students regulate their emotions and reset so they are ready to rejoin learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their reactions were priceless. Their faces lit up with excitement, and many immediately asked when they could use everything. Several students shared how the space made them feel \"happy,\" \"relaxed,\" and \"important.\" It was a powerful reminder of how much a welcoming environment impacts learning.\r\n\r\nBecause of your kindness, our next steps include expanding our small-group instruction and independent practice using the manipulatives, encouraging more student choice and responsibility with our classroom library, and continuing to support social-emotional learning through our calming space. These resources will continue to support our students academically and emotionally throughout the year.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our classroom and investing in our students.
